Why did you choose Sandy Village to run your business?

I made this choice because of the location. Having gone to high school at St. Bede’s College, Mentone, I feel a strong connection to the bayside location.

When did you start your business?

I have been a lawyer for 34 years and principal of KPA Lawyers for 31 years.

What’s your proudest moment in business?

Helping a young mother who was caught up in an abusive relationship. With my assistance she was able to take control of her life and obtain financial independence.

What’s something that your business offers that most people won’t know about?

Representation as an Accredited Player Agent for AFL and AFLW footballers which involves contract negotiations and player trades.

What’s a typical day at KPA Lawyers like?

The day starts off nice and early with a run and then a coffee at Limoncello. After that, reviewing emails that have come in overnight, telephone conversations, a team meeting with lawyers, prioritising and then undertaking tasks and meetings with clients. Our staff like to break up the day with a meditative walk along the Sandringham coastal trail or through the Village. This is a great way to unwind and refocus.

I am an Accredited AFL and NBA Player Agent.

I serve on the Board of an Indigenous Charity - Grow Hope Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to create generational change by educating young Australians in Indigenous history and culture and facilitating life changing connections with Indigenous Australians.
