"Sandringham Village - or just 'Sandy Village' according to locals, and only 30 minutes from the city.

Positioned right at the end of the Sandringham train line, our friendly community, is easy to get to.⁠ Catch the train to the last stop on the Sandringham line to the very heart of the Village - or if driving - there's public parking in the Village or on the foreshore. So why not join the spoilt locals? Drop by for a coffee or some food at one of the many cafes and wander along the palm tree lined streets, discovering our vibrant shopping precinct, eateries and many businesses on offer, all in a charming village atmosphere.

Fine or casual dining? We've got you covered. Take your pick from many beautiful restaurants with cuisines from around the world. Or grab a burger, a pizza or parma, noodles or fish and chips.

A casual drink and live music at one of the bars, and buskers in the Village Square. There's Specialty Retail Shops for clothing and homewares, recycled clothing and outlets for brands like Gucci, Mulberry, LouisVuitton, Cartier; all at a fraction of retail cost.

Explore the eclectic street art in Village streets and laneways or borrow a book for the beach from our free street libraries.

Amble down historic Melrose Street from the station, to bush and beach. Take in the sunset and one of the glorious Bayside trails - a choice of Art, History, Environment or Indigenous walks along the foreshore beginning a tour iconic band rotunda. Or hire an electric bike to explore further.
