As you may know, Bayside Council will be removing and replacing all dark green general waste bins with new red lid bins
As a Sandy Village Trader you have two options:
- Keep your dark green general waste bin and re-purpose it - perhaps to help with your waste management by separating plastics, paper, glass, food waste, general waste etc REMEMBER: Council will no longer be emptying these bins and you will need to manage the disposal yourself.
- Donate your dark green general waste bin to STA and we will store or repurpose it for you. Simply send an email to traders@sandringhamvillage.org.au with the subject - ‘TAKE MY BIN’
STA is working on an exciting new initiative called Village Zero - looking at ways to make Sandy Village more sustainable with better waste management, renewable energy and solar power etc.
