Spacelets on the agenda
The future of outdoor dining in Bayside is being discussed by Council at its meeting on Tuesday 14 September 2021. A Notice of Motion seeks to extend the spacelet program over summer, undertake a review of the Spacelet program and report back to Council February 2022. You can read the Notice of Motion on page 343 of the meeting agenda. As this is a Notice of Motion, written statements cannot be accepted in response to the agenda item.
If the Notice of Motion is supported by Council, the Spacelet program will be extended until March 2022 to provide time for trader and community consultation and analysis of the usage, economic, safety and compliance impacts of spacelets in Bayside.
